Hello friends!
I want to take a second to tell you more about the CIAS Next Level community that my friend Bryan Boliver and I have started.
We want to help you take your songwriting and artistry to the next level. We realize there are all kinds of programs and products out there trying to sell you a magic formula or a silver bullet that will make you a super successful musician, and honestly, some of them may even deliver on that. Who knows?
But over my 25-plus years as a full-time, professional working musician and songwriter, here’s what I’ve found. If you want to get better at this, you have to work hard, surround yourself with people and ideas that elevate your expectations and your skills, and you have to be humble and teachable enough to learn and be changed.
That’s what I teach my students, and that’s what we’re going to do here. The CIAS Next Level program is going to push you to be better, invite you to be more, and encourage you to grow and become the very best version of yourself as an artist, songwriter, etc.
We’re going to have monthly songwriting prompts to give you guardrails and guidelines, which will add structure and accountability to your creative work.
We’re going to have monthly zoom-style focus calls, which will have sort of a casual classroom and mastermind vibe where you can dig deeper into various aspects of the creative AND commercial sides of making music.
Those sessions will provide practical tips and useful “industry” data, but also just a fun, communal, socratic-interactive environment. And we’re going to have a curated, private community for song sharing, Q&A, and who knows what else?
There’s also a “pro tier” level of the community that’s going to go even deeper and give more guidance, more access, more opportunity, etc.
But hey, whichever tier of the program you choose, we really believe this community is going to be a game changer for a lot of you, and we’re going to work hard to deliver on that.
