The CIAS Songwriting Retreat will be held on Wednesday May 29th to Friday May 31st. 

May 29th- meet and greet and time of worship to prepare our hearts and minds for the 2 days of writing.

May 30th and 31st- 2 full days full of writing with peers and pros

This is a 2 day writing event designed by songwriters, for songwriters. Professional songwriter Ross King and publisher Deb Wolf have planned to join us again and our hope is to bring in another pro for this great event (tba)

You will leave this retreat with 4-5 co-written songs. Not only will you have the opportunity to write these songs with other independent and professional, talented and driven songwriters, but we will end each night sharing some of the songs we wrote with the group. 

The other main focus of this event is the relationships that will be made. We know from personal experience these events have the power to change your life. This comes through the relationships that are made at events like this.

We have had multiple songs released from these retreats, pitched to publishers, sung at churches, played on independent Christian radio and so much more.

This retreat will be an incredible time to build relationships, write great songs and spend time doing what we love most.

There will also be time set aside for open discussions on topics like music indie artistry, publishing, sync licensing, streaming strategy, and more.

Our deepest hope is to empower and equip you to take your songwriting and music journey to the next level.

This year our location will be held at our church in Melbourne Beach Florida, which is less than a mile from the Atlantic Ocean and Indian River Lagoon and is nestled in a quiet beach town full of inspiration and charm.  This will be the first time our retreat is at a church and we believe God will bring special life and breath into the songs written this year.

Sometimes it takes big steps to follow the call on our lives of music. We feel this event is a perfect opportunity to step out in faith and trust God to see what He has for you.

We feel that God has led us to hosting this event because He has a plan and purpose for it, and also for each person who attends. When we get talented, driven and excited songwriters in a room together, it will be incredible to see all that happens. 

This is our 4th annual CIAS Songwriting retreat and each one has been incredible so far. Everyone who has attended has said it is one of the highlights of their year and songwriting journey.

The 3 days we spend together will be life-changing and we would love for you to join us for 2024!
